A while ago I came across some kind of invite to an open audition for a band British popstar Terry Guy is holding. Needless to say my curiosity was piqued and I checked out his MySpace page just to get an idea of the kind of music. I have to admit that I actually like the songs on it; it reminds me of Billy Idol (and I like Billy Idol's old stuff).
I sent Terry a message telling him I like his music and that - basically - I'm interested, but that the distance (he's in London, UK) is too much for me. Then I kinda forgot about it... Till today.
Terry wrote this back to me:
Hi there, I got your reply for my "live band." Definately is a shame you live so far away. However, if you would be up for doing any session work in the studio, as I am still recording the album, drop us an e-mail and may be we can arrange a collaboration if you're up for it.
Hope you have a nice easter weekend and many thanks for getting back to me.Looks like I have something to think about over Easter, besides eggs...
